I have had the pleasure of having my mind shattered and then reformed by Lina Allemano Four twice since I've been wise enough to look to jazz for good times. Each one of the members are little gifts unto themselves. I hope you can come!

Toronto's cutting edge avant-jazz band, LINA ALLEMANO FOUR - known for their inventiveness and synergy - deftly blur the line between composition and improvisation. Lina Allemano was featured as one of Downbeat Magazine's top innovative trumpeters for the future. The band has toured extensively over the past 6 years in Canada and the US, having released 3 widely acclaimed CDs. Their newest album, Jargon (Lumo Records 2010), was named in Exclaim! Magazine's "Improv & Avant-Garde Albums of the Year" and Eye Weekly's "Best Toronto Albums".
