 For the past ten years The Bad Plus have broken down the walls of jazz convention and created an uncompromising body of work, largely original, and based on what they call their “personal brand of avant-garde populism.” Though firmly rooted in the acoustic jazz piano trio tradition, their stylistic appetite is huge, encompassing pop, rock, country, electronic, and classical idioms.
