Since 2005, local businesses have taken part in the Halifax Jazz Festival through the decorative and always inventive Jazz Windows program. Retailers in different districts demonstrate their love of the festival by beautifully transforming their window displays into jazz infused masterpieces.

Jazz Windows Display Competition 2010
From July 1 to the end of the festival, Jazz Windows pop up all over Halifax. Each year three displays stand out more than the others and are selected as winners of the Jazz Windows Display Competition. To recognize these outstanding feats of creativity and sense of fun, JazzEast awards prizes to each winner on the final day of the Free Dayitme Festival Tent series.
