Groove Gala 2024: Benefiting HJF Music Education.

Join us for the inaugural Groove Gala 2024, featuring JUNO Award winning artist, Caity Gyorgy, on November 22, 2024, at The Stage at St. Andrew’s.

Caity Gyorgy (pronounced George) is a 2 time JUNO award winning Canadian vocalist known for singing bebop and swing music. She has performed at jazz clubs and festivals across Canada, Mexico, Japan and the USA. In addition to being a performer, Caity is an avid writer and composes songs in the style of the Great American Songbook.

Guests will also enjoy a full evening, starting with a reception and passed hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, and the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and raffle before the performance.

The Groove Gala 2024 is an opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable evening while making a positive impact on the community. All proceeds from the evening will support the Halifax Jazz Festival’s free community programming and educational activities, helping provide accessible music experiences to our community and inspire the next generation of musicians and music lovers.
